Introduction

Hulas Steel was jointly established in 1981 as a Greenfield venture by Golchha Organisation of Nepal and Comcraft of Switzerland. Golchha Organisation was founded in 1934 A.D. by the dynamic and charismatic chairman, Late Seth Sri Ram Lal Golchha. Since then, the organisation has been at the forefront of industries and commercial development in the country and has pioneered the introduction of technical excellence, professionalism and innovation in all spheres of business. Products and brands developed and nurtured by member companies of the organisation have become trusted household names throughout Nepal.

The ever widening spectrum of industries included several of the largest industrial complexes in the country, manufacturing products ranging from stainless steel hollowware, white sugar, rectified spirit, extra natural alcohol & laminated, aluminum extrusion, woven knitwear, jute bags, hessian and jute carpets to raw jute, textiles, vanaspati oil & ghee, zip fasteners, tin & plastic containers, processed food grains, biscuits & confectionery and television sets. The organisation also has a dominant presence in import/export trade and international representation in the country.

Comcraft, a management and investment complex has operations in more than 30 countries in the world. Centered in Switzerland, Comcraft owns and operates many types of industries including Steel Rolling, Galvanising, Aluminium Extrusion, Aluminium Smelting, Continuous pre-coating on Aluminium sheets, Electronic PC board manufacturing etc. in different countries in Europe and the Americas and also in Australia, China, India, Malaysia and Singapore.
