Pre Painted Hot-Dip Zinc Coated Sheets

This Division Started manufacturing colour coated sheets in 1989, long before the concept was even heard of in the entire SAARC region. The paint Using the most sophisticated Japanese machines and technology, was set up considering the first introduced by J.F.H Van Eijnsborgen in early fifties and envisages protection of steel sheet with a zine layer followed by a non matallic coating.

This outer coating is to proved color (eg. for appearance or easy visibility) or camouflage and more importantly, additional corrosion protection. Pre-painted sheets manufactured by Hulas Confirms to JIS-G-3312, IS 14246-1995.

The Corrosion resistance of a dupled coating is normally greater that the sum of the lives of the two individual constitution of the coating if applied separately. (Zinc and paint). Typically the increase factor of color coated sheets vis-a-vis zinc coated sheets is as follows.

HOW HULAS COLOR COATED SHEET IS BUILD UP
The Non matallic compound used for duplex coating is paint. Top class stoving polyester and epoxy based paint suitably primed for excellent flexibility and hardnedd characteristics, decorative and corrosion protection properties are used. The galvanized (alloyed) sheets before being painted by the roller applicaion technology, are sutiably primed using paint primer to ensure proper adhesion and high quality surface finish. Susequent baking of the sheet upto 240 degrees ensure excellent adhesion between the paint and zinc. Paint coating can be applied in semi gloss or full gloss finishes which are ideally suited for indoor and outdoor user. It is especially suitable for structural work and consumer durable end usages.Considering the life increase factor, coor coated sheets offer better cost benifit analysis over plain zinc coated sheets.
